Community Information Forums
Alzheimer's disease affects 11,000 people in Calgary alone. As more people become affected by the disease in our community, there is an increasing need for information and support services.
If you or someone you know have received a recent diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or dementia, your best defence is knowledge about the disease so you know what to expect and can start planning for the future.
The Alzheimer Society of Calgary hosts a free community information forum to let people know that they are not alone in their journey, to educate people about the disease and help them to identify their next steps.
