Best Friends Approach Training Curriculum

Everyone knows how to be a friend this concept is easily understood by people of all ages and all cultures.  The Best Friends Approach* books are internationally acclaimed and have been translated into several languages.  The Best Friends Approach encompasses the familiar concept of friendship; the characteristics of a valued friend are also those of a valued care provider.  Founded on the core elements of respect, empathy, support, compassion and humour, the model can be adapted to suit the training needs of individuals across the continuum of care.

The Best Friends Approach Training Package, based on these principles, is an innovative adult learning model that can be adopted by all cultures and implemented easily and cost-effectively.
