Mark your calendars and lace up your sneakers... we're planning for the 20th Annual Investors Group Thanksgiving Memory Walk and Run October 10, 2010! The Investor Group Thanksgiving Memory Walk and Run is the Alzheimer Society of Calgary's signature family event.

Imagine yourself at the wheel of an ultra-expensive Bentley automobile, or a sleek and flashy Lamborghini. Well, now you can do it and have a photo to prove it!
The 30th Annual Calgary International Auto and Truck Show takes place March 10 - 14, 2010 at the BMO Centre and Corral in Stampede Park, and those attending will be able to have their photo taken behind the wheel of a Bentley or Lamborghini for only $10. You will receive a custom 5x7 colour print, and net proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary. See you there!
Gord Strandlund is 59 years old and has Alzheimer’s disease. He is a volunteer and Ambassador for the Alzheimer Society of Calgary.He and his wife Brenda are committed to helping other's living with dementia. Today, they are sharing their story to help people overcome the fear and stigma associated with the disease by encouraging others to “live in truth”. You are invited to read Gord’s story.
